Last updated October 26, 2026

Bella-Ruta is run by Anny Sanchez, who is the data controller for personal data collected on bella-ruta.com. That means we decide why and how your data is used.

What we collect and why

  • Name and email — to send guides you request or buy, and to reply to you (contract performance).
  • Trip details from planning forms (dates, destinations, budget, travelers) — to prepare your trip design (contract performance, or steps you ask for before one).
  • Account login details, if you create an account — to let you sign in (contract performance).
  • Messages you send us — to answer and support you (legitimate interests).
  • Basic usage data such as pages visited, device type and IP address — to keep the site secure and improve it (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

  • Service providers who host the site, send our emails and provide analytics.
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling products, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers, when needed.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, tax records). After that it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, receive a copy, or withdraw consent you've given. Email info@bella-ruta.com and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit and restricted access.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep the site working (for example, remembering your language and keeping you signed in) and privacy-friendly analytics to understand visits. You can clear or block cookies in your browser.
