I planned the connections. Then we travelled the route.
Four of us travelled through Türkiye, Egypt and South Africa in September 2026.
The memorable parts were the experiences: seeing the pyramids in person, exploring Luxor, travelling along the Nile and shifting from ancient sites to safari.
But making those experiences fit into one trip required decisions about flights, overnight stops, transfers and how much we could comfortably do.
I created this guide to share both the journey and the practical thinking behind it, so you have a clearer starting point for your own plans.
